Product description

Amflee Combo Dog for the prevention and treatment of fleas, ticks and biting lice in dogs.
The product kills fleas within a day and prevents flea infestation for 8 weeks.
It prevents the development of eggs, larvae and pupae in the surroundings for 8 weeks.
Kills ticks and has a repellent effect against ticks up to 4 weeks (depending on the species of tick).
Amflee Combo Dog will also end infections with biting lice.
The active substances in the product are Fipronil and S-Methoprene (known from Frontline Combo).
Drops applied to the neck (spot-on).
There are 4 variants depending on the body weight of your dog. You can get them all in a 3-pack or a 6-pack.

It is important to treat all animals in the house against fleas. In case of a flea infestation, or the existing risk of a flea infestation, it is also necessary to treat the infected environment, so that you kill larvae and all adult fleas in the house. Indoor-X Spray is a suitable product for this.
Fleas are intermediate hosts of the dog tapeworm Dipylidium Caninum. This tapeworm can be transmitted by swallowing a flea by dogs and cats. This is one of the reasons why veterinarians advise regularly deworming your pets. It is wise to deworm all adult dogs up to 4 times a year or sometimes even more depending on the risk of infection.

Indication

Amflee Combo has been specially developed for the prevention and treatment of fleas, ticks and biting lice. Through the combination of 2 active ingredients, Fipronil and s-Methoprene, Amflee Combo works against the adult flea on your animal as well as on the environment. The larvae and eggs in the environment of your pet are inhibited in their development. This breaks the life cycle of the flea.
The use is safe in pregnant and lactating dogs.
It is recommended to repeat the administration every month.
This product can be used to treat flea allergy dermatitis.

Contra indication

In the absence of available data, do not administer the product to puppies under 8 weeks of age and/or to puppies that weigh less than 2 kg.
Do not use in sick (eg systemic diseases, fever) or recovering animals.
Do not use in rabbits, as side effects and even death may occur.
Do not use this product with cats and ferrets, it can lead to overdose.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or one of the excipients.

Dosage

Read the instructions and packaging before use.
The minimum recommended dose is 6.7 mg fipronil per kg and 6 mg/kg
S-methoprene. The minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

Method of application: Easy to administer thanks to the soft, easy-to-push pipettes. Administer the entire contents of the pipette on one place on the skin of the neck before the shoulder blades.
Avoid contact with the eyes of the animal. It is important to ensure that the product is applied in a place where the animal cannot lick it and to prevent animals from licking each other after treatment.

Extra information:
Pet fleas often contaminate the basket, bedding and normal resting places of the animal, such as carpets and soft upholstery.
In the case of flea infestation and during the start of the control measures, these objects must be treated with a suitable insecticide and vacuumed regularly.

Composition

Active ingredient: Fipronil 100 mg/ml and (S)-Methoprene 90 mg/ml.
Fipronil is an insecticide and acaricide that belongs to the phenylpyrazole family.
S-Methoprene is an insect growth regulator (IGR) of the class of compounds known as juvenile hormone analogs, which inhibit the development of immature stages of insects.

Side effects

If the product is licked, a short period of excessive drooling can be observed.
In very rare cases, skin reactions such as hair loss, redness and itching of a temporary nature.
Excessive salivation, neurological symptoms or vomiting were observed in extremely rare cases.

Warnings

Attachment of individual ticks may occur. Avoid licking or contact with the eyes or mouth of animals and humans. Wash hands after use.
